BERRIDGE METAL ROOF DECK PANELS
- Mechanically Attached Metal Roof Panels — 12-3/4 in. wide, Type TP standing seam system or 17-3/4 in. wide Type HSTP standing seam system (24 msg min. gauge coated steel) to be secured to the panel clips by engaging manufacturer’s snap-on seam with vinyl insert. The panel clips are to be attached to the corrugated metal substratum with one No. 10 pancake head tek screw. The corrugated metal substratum is placed over the specified roof insulation and fastened through the roof insulation to the steel deck with min. No. 10 tek screw.
- Mechanically Attached Metal Roof Panels — 16 in. wide, Type DV batten seam system (24 msg min. gauge coated steel) to be secured to hat section purlins with one No. 10 hex-head tek screw. The steel hat sections are placed over the specified roof insulation and fastened through the roof insulation to the steel roof deck with min. No. 14 self-drilling, self-tapping screw. The size and spacing of these screws shall be determined by structural load requirements. In addition, any compressible UL Classified glass fiber insulation with or without a vapor-retarder facing may be used between the specified roof insulation and metal roof.
- Mechanically Attached Metal Roof Panels 16″ wide – Type ZL standing seam panel system (24 MSG minimum gage coated steel) to be placed over specified insulations and/or roof covering for the respective design. The roof panels are secured during installation to the continuous Zee Rib bearing member by a mechanical seaming device. A No. 12-14 self-drilling self-tapping fastener at various lengths shall restrain the Zee Rib and is to penetrate the assembly, through the decking, and into the structural member or attached to the decking only. One fastener is required at each structural member. One layer minimum of No. 30 saturated asphalt roofing felt is required between panel and roof covering.
- Mechanically Attached Metal Roof Panels — 16-3/4 in. wide, Type CL standing seam panel system (24 MSG minimum gauge coated steel) to be placed over specified insulations and/or roof covering for the respective design. The snap lock roof panels are secured by hand pressure during installation to the continuous Cee rib bearing member. A No. 12-14 self-drilling, self-tapping fastener at various lengths shall restrain the Cee rib and is to penetrate the assembly, through the decking and into the structural member or attached to the decking only. One fastener is required at each structural member. One layer minimum of No. 30 saturated asphalt roofing is required between panel and roof covering.
