Buxcon Sheet Metal evolved from West Coast Sheet Metal which was founded by Gil Buxton in 1969. The company has gone through several name changes over the past thirty six years but the guiding principle has remained consistent: provide the customer with the highest level of quality in metal roofing and custom sheet metal work. When Gil Buxton closed his original company in 1994, his three sons Dick, Tom and Larry started their own sheet metal firm which is now known as Buxcon Sheet Metal. In addition to Buxcon Sheet Metal which specializes in commercial work, LTD Sheet Metal focuses on residential and Specialty Metals Fabrication supplies custom sheet metal work such as finials, domes and other special items.
Buxcon and its predecessors have offered Berridge standing seam metal roofing since the mid 1980’s when Gil Buxton purchased a Berridge Model SS-14 portable roll former. The ability to site form straight and curved standing seam metal roofing has provided Buxcon with additional flexibility to better serve their customers.
